Boolean vs Semantic
Boolean and AI search answer different questions. Boolean returns a countable set that's literal, reproducible, and auditable, and it fails by silently missing people. Semantic search returns a ranked list of maybes, catches candidates you'd never think to ask for, and fails by confidently including the wrong ones. Neither fixes stale data.
